Managed Service Providers (MSPs) face a seemingly endless array of challenges as they navigate the continued breakneck pace of tech business imperatives, their customers and the impact of change on their bottom lines.
In particular, the accelerating digital transformation, spurred by AI, cybersecurity, the cloud and competition, increasingly means MSPs need to make critical decisions on the partners with whom they choose to go to market.
The pathway they choose makes all the difference.
“I've always believed that if we help a partner, if we help them grow, if we help them learn and improve their business, let them win first, everything good for Pax8 falls out of that as a direct result,” said Craig Donovan, Chief Experience Officer at Pax8.
A Marketplace That Works For MSPs
Donovan spoke on a recent Pax8Academy forum, describing Pax8’s approach to MSPs, partnerships, and, in particular, its Voyager Alliance program.
The Voyager Alliance Program implements a tier-based system with minimal entry requirements. This initiative equips Pax8 partners with enablement, education, and enhanced service levels tailored to their growth stages. All participants have access to the Pax8 Marketplace and forum via the Voyager Alliance Program. Additionally, the program offers a comprehensive NFR license, educational opportunities through the Pax8 Academy, various live events, favorable payment terms, and connections to strategic technology partners.
The Voyager Alliance program comprises five tiers—Alliance, Ignite, Velocity, Titan, and Galactic—each offering increasing levels of access to Pax8 resources, account management, and services. Levels are determined by sales volume. Since first launching the program in November of 2024, there have been multiple value adds applied to the program and the next evolution of Voyager Alliance is said to be revealed at the company’s global event, Beyond.
Pax8’s strategy is to provide the essential tools for MSPs not just for their own sake, but to drive innovation. It’s that innovation that drives growth, whether in AI, cybersecurity or the cloud.
For MSPs concerned about whether to dive into new tech offerings like AI, Pax8 has embraced a strategy of adoption as a pathway to growth.
“Pax8 encourages increased adoption of new technologies, resulting in increased consumption via the Pax8 Marketplace to unlock more program benefits,” Rob Rae, Corporate Vice President of Community and Ecosystems at Pax8 recently told CRN.
“The addition of AI to our vendor portfolio, most notably, Microsoft Copilot, has been met with increased demand for enablement and services, which are offered as part of Voyager Alliance,” Rae said.
With the rate and pace of challenges and opportunities as technology advances, Pax8 designed Voyager Alliance to help MSPs, not just to keep up but to stay ahead.
